A.P.P.L.E. FamilyWorks was founded in 1978 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, and for 30 years has worked to meet the growing isolation, confusion and pressure felt in today’s society. (A.P.P.L.E. is an acronym for Advancing Principles and Practices of Life Enrichment).

Over the years, A.P.P.L.E. FamilyWorks’ pioneering services have been woven into the fabric of the community, while new services are developed to meet families’ changing needs.

A.P.P.L.E. FamilyWorks serves people of all ages and stages of personal and family development, including adults in the workplace and children in school. FamilyWorks is certified as “Best in America,” by Independent Charities of America, for being among the top 3% of charities in the United States. People are routinely referred to FamilyWorks by public and private agencies, professionals, and those who have benefited from our services.
