Family Works provides compassionate, effective, and affordable services that build essential parenting and life skills for people with cognitive disabilities. We envision a day when all people with cognitive disabilities can achieve their fullest potential to live independent and fulfilling lives.

For over 40 years, Family Works has provided Independent Living Skills and Parenting Support Services for adults with disabilities. Our goal is to motivate and inspire our clients to enhance their social, emotional and parenting skills in their family and work environments as well as the community at large.

Family Works' provide services in 10 counties throughout the Bay Area including; Sonoma, Napa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties. Family Works has offices in Novato and Santa Clara.

Individuals who serve on our board have a unique opportunity to make a direct impact in the community while developing their leadership skills and expanding their network of peers, professionals, community leaders, and community thought leaders.
