Family Works provides Independent Living Skills and Parenting Support Services for adults with disabilities.

Our goal is to motivate and inspire our clients to enhance their social, emotional and parenting skills in their family and work environments as well as the community at large.

Parenting support services (PSS) enhance each parent’s ability to promote their own and their children’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development

• Behavior management and positive discipline using the Positive Parent Program or “Triple P”

• Stress reduction

• Family nutrition and exercise

• Financial management and budgeting

• Transportation skills

Independent Living Skills (ILS) motivate individuals to enhance their social skills and their interactions with their families, work environment, and community resources at large. 

• Employment readiness

• Development of social support systems

• Health promotion and exercise

• Access to community resources

Family Works' provide services in 10 counties throughout the Bay Area including; Sonoma, Napa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties. 

Family Works has offices in Novato and Santa Clara.
